Jamestown (CSi) The John Deere dealership in Jamestown Valley Plains Equipment has started Phase One of moving a building to the east side, to make way for a new facility, that began Monday morning.
Hugh Hillstrom, says the structure is being moved 200 feet to the east…used for storage, will become a cold facility storage unit that will house tires, concaves, customer equipment and other goods. Trevor Williamson, lot manager of Valley Plains Equipment, points out that the move will increase the height of the original building 4 feet to create a higher sidewall for machines parked in the shop.
The new facility, will be 68,000 square feet, will have more retail-type products with a better layout, but won’t be increasing the type of products available.
