GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) – Police in Grand Forks Monday are looking for an armed woman they say robbed a credit union.
Police say the Citizen’s Community Credit Union was robbed around 12:30 p.m. Monday. Authorities say a woman entered the bank, displayed a weapon, demanded money from a teller and then fled the scene.
Police say it’s unknown what the bank’s losses are. They say a tan-colored, mid-size sedan was seen leaving the area, but they are unsure if the car has anything to do with the robbery.
The suspect is described as a 5-foot-4-inch Native American woman in her late 30s to early 40s. Authorities say she was wearing dark clothes and a stocking hat.
Police ask that anyone with information contact the department.
