Louise Schneekloth, age 95, of Valley City, ND and formerly of Tower City, ND died Nov. 1, 2015 at the Sheyenne Care Center in Valley City. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 AM Thursday Nov. 5, 2015 at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church in Oriska, ND with Rev. Aragya Gadagotti celebrant and Deacon James McAllister assisting. Visitation will be from 5PM until 6:45 PM Wednesday at St. Bernard’s Church with a Rosary beginning at 6:45. The Prayer Service will begin at 7:00 PM. Interment will take place in Buffalo Cemetery, Buffalo, ND.
Louise was born Dec. 23, 1919 at Fingal, ND the daughter of John and Agnes (Wurzer) Koller. She was married to Ralph Schneekloth of Buffalo, ND on Dec. 30, 1937. Ralph died in 1981. Over the years Louise worked at the Tower View Café, the Valley City Elks, and the Valley City Country Club, and was a cook at the Maple Valley High School for 21 years. She was a member of St. Bernard’s Catholic Church and the Tower City Senior Citizens. Louise has been a resident of the Sheyenne Care Center in Valley City since 2009.
Louise was preceded in death by her parents, husband Ralph, sons Douglas (2003), Clifford (2010), two brothers, and four sisters. Survivors include her son Lynn (Debra) Schneekloth, Tower City, ND, daughter Susan Bautista, Mt. Terrace, WA, daughter-in-law Kathi Schneekloth, Mt Vernon, WA, seven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
