Carrington (CSi) The Foster County Emergency Manager has announced the county hold a full scale exercise on November 13th for the entire county.
The exercise will allow responders to get hands on practice and enhance coordination with others in a simulated and controlled environment.
The exercise will be held near Bordulac at around 8:15 AM. Responders will be called to a multi-car accident and simulated anhydrous ammonia leak. Because it is a simulated exercise, individuals will not need to call 911.
Foster County Emergency Manager Jess Earle, says, “The idea behind doing full scale exercises is to identify areas that may need work and to coordinate with partnering agencies and to develop a cohesive solution for those areas. The county is required to participate in a minimum of three exercises a year; only one needs to be a full scale.”
Any questions, should be directed to the Foster County Sheriff’s Department at 701-652-2252.
