Phone scam caller NOT from Troopers Association

The North Dakota Highway Patrol is warning residents of a current phone scam.

According to a recent Facebook post, the North Dakota Troopers Association does not conduct fundraisers by phone. It states that if you receive a call from someone claiming to represent the Troopers Association, do not give out personal or financial information.

If you receive a call like this, you’re encouraged to contact the Attorney General’s Office immediately.
