Leal (CSi) Some parents of students in the Barnes County North School District are proposing a recall of some or all of the school board members.

Parent spokesman Curt Brown believes the board is micro-managing the Superintendent and Principal Mark Lindahl, who told the board that he and his wife Mary would be moving to the Twin Cities to be closer to their grandchildren.

Lindahl tendered his resignation in September, effective at the end of the school year.

School board chairperson Lori Carlson believes the board has done nothing wrong that would merit a recall of any school board member.

Earlier this month a school board meeting focused on whether or not the district should reduce one teacher per classroom and increase classroom size for teachers or make no change at all.
