Blue Ribbon ceremony Washington Elementary

Valley City  (CSi)  The National Blue Ribbon School Ceremony for Washington Elementary School will be held tonight (Tues)  at 7pm. The public is welcome to attend.

North Dakota Senator John Hoeven, Senator Heidi Heitkamp, Superintendent of Schools Kirsten Baesler, and a representative from Governor Jack Dalrymple’s office are scheduled to attend.

The “National Blue Ribbon” plaque as well as the Blue Ribbon Banner will be displayed. An additional plaque from the State of North Dakota will be presented in recognition of the National Blue Ribbon Award.

A video will share comments and thoughts regarding the Blue Ribbon Award from a wide variety of folks during the ceremony.

Refreshments will be served by the Washington School PTO.
