Jamestown (CSi) – Before the parade the float entries were judged and trophies and cash awares were handed out at the After Parade Party, at Shady’s at the Gladstone Inn & Suites in Jamestown.

Award Winners were:

Best Dazzle: with lots of motion, unique design, flashy and exciting…HOFMANN TRUCKING.

Most Original Theme: creative/original theme, lights and motion, energetic, holiday spirit, JAMES RIVER CORRECTIONAL CENTER.

Most Outstanding Amateur Built: use of man-made materials, lighting, unique use of holiday theme…HOBBY TIRE.

Most Outstanding Civic or Non-Profit: most energetic participants, lights, music, originality…EVENTIDE.

The Community Christmas Tree Lighting was put on hold, due to the unavailability of the fire department’s ladder truck for decorating. The ceremony will be rescheduled
