NDHP saturation, citations issued

Bismarck (CSi)   On Wednesday November 25, 2015, all available  North Dakota Highway Ptrol troopers were on patrol statewide to increase safety on one of the year’s busiest travel days.

Troopers issued 36 seat belt citations and arrested three drivers for DUI. Enhanced enforcement continued through Sunday, resulting in an additional 118 seat belt citations and 23 DUI arrests.

There were no fatal crashes over the Thanksgiving weekend.  NDHP asks for continued cooperation with motorists in buckling up and making responsible driving decisions.
