Handel’s “Messiah” to be performed Dec 7

Jamestown (CSi) Jamestown High School and University of Jamestown students to perform Handel’s “Messiah” around Christmas.

The performance will be part of a holiday concert that starts at 7:30 p.m. Monday, December 7, 2015 in the Jamestown High School Auditorium. The JHS Choir and JHS Orchestra will perform holiday music before joining with 60 community members to perform four choruses of Handel’s best known musical piece.

There is no charge for admission. A freewill donation to benefit the Jamestown Music Boosters is welcome. After the concert cookies and cider will be served to benefit the high school students’ annual trip to New York City.
