PalmerMarkJamestown (CSi) The Jamestown Police Department is warning Jamestown residents of a convicted sex offender that has changed address within the city.

Mark Christian Palmer, is a 63, year old white male, six feet tall, weighing 205 pounds with brown eyes and brown hair.

He presently resides at 117 1/2  1st Street West #4, Jamestown, ND.

His vehicle is a White 2004 Ford Ranger XLT

ND License: 291AXR

He has been assigned a high risk assessment by the North Dakota risk level committee.

Palmer was convicted in May of 2001 in McHenry County District Court of Gross Sexual Imposition. The report says he fondled a 10 year old girl during a family holiday. The disposition was 40 years with 28 suspended for five years.

He is currently on probation with North Dakota Parole and Probation.

Palmer  is currently on GPS monitoring.

He is not wanted at this time by police, and is currently serving his sentence impose by the court. Any attempt to use this information to harass, intimidate or assault the offender, or harass, intimidate or threaten his family, landlord, or employer will be turned over for prosecution.
