Director of the Jamestown Harley Owners Group, Mark Wiese, says it was a little lower than recent years, but the results are still on par with the better years.
On Tuesday’s Wayne Byers Show on CSi Cable 2, Don Wegner said there will be a live and silent auction, from 9-a.m., to 1-p.m. Registration and ABATE Chili Cook-Off begins at 10:30-a.m. Walk the Plank starts at 1:30-p.m.
With the cook-off a $5 donation enables the individual to taste up to 20 different pots of chili, with the winner receiving recognition.
George Quigley at Stutsman Harley Davidson has more information, with registration still open.
Wegner pointed out that over the past nine years, $120,000 has been raised through Walk the Plank, to support JRMC’s Hospice Program.
He added that plungers will receive awards in the categories of Biggest Splash, Wildest contume, and Spirit Award.
