Service dog fundraising for ND veteran meets goal

Adrian (CSi) An Adrian, group has reached its goal of $20,000 to purchase a service dog for another veteran.

At the Junkin’ for G Is event, over $12,000 was raised.

The event featured up-cycled junk courtesy of Tesa Klein with Wildflowers, Inc.

The organization will donate the funds, and during Giving Hearts Day, February 11^th.

Adrian (CSi) A local group wants to raise $20,000 in order to purchase a service dog for a North Dakota Veteran.

“Junkin’ for GI’s” will raise the funds to purchase a service dog from Service Dogs for America out of Jud.

Shelley Nannenga with Service Dogs for America saysthese fundraiser make it possible for the organization to accomplish their goals.

The event will feature local work from Tessa Klein at Wildflowers Inc, which specializes in up-cycled junk.
