Optimist_LogoJamestown (CSi) The Jamestown Optimist Spaghetti Supper is set for Friday February 5,  from 5-pm., to 7-p.m., at the Jamestown Civic Center’s, Exchequor Room.

On Friday’s Wayne Byers show on CSi Cable 2, member Ken McDougall said the supper is held each year with the Sport & Home Show.

Adult Tickets are $8 each, students $5 each, and five and younger, eat free.

Tickets are available at the door or from any Jamestown Optimist Club member.

He said proceeds will support Jamestown Optimist Club projects, such as the Imagination Library for children’s books, Respect for Law Day, and providing bike helmets for children in conjunction with the Jamestown Police Department’s Bike Rodeo.

The Optimists with its 50 members also supports the Jamestown Middle School wrestling tournament, gymnastic tournaments, and more.

Dr. Alissa Hanson is the Jamestown Optimist Club’s President, and Lisa Jackson is the Secretary.

Ken Schulz also represents the Optimists Club on a regional basis.
