GOPlogoBISMARCK, N.D. (AP) – The North Dakota Republican Party will host a gubernatorial debate next month in Bismarck.

GOP party officials say they want to showcase their three conservative candidates for governor. Rick Becker, Doug Burgum and Wayne Stenehjem will all take part in the debate at the Belle Mehus Auditorium on March 9.

The debate will be moderated by conservative radio host Scott Hennen, Prairie Public News Director Dave Thompson and Donnell Preskey Hushka, a lobbyist for the North Dakota Association of Counties.

Each candidate will receive a block of tickets. The remainder will be distributed through the party’s headquarters on a first-come, first-served basis.
