(CSi) The North Dakota Highway Patrol reports, a crop-duster airplane experiencing engine trouble en route from Hillsboro to Mandan made an emergency landing on Interstate 94 Friday evening about 5-O’Clock
The patrol report says 27 year old Adam Taylor, of Bismarck, was piloting the 1977 Thrush Ayers S2R, when he was forced to land the plane on I-94 about 2 1/2 miles east of Sterling. There was no damage to the plane or highway. This was not a crash.
The patrol says the pilot and the plane’s owner made arrangements to remove the plane. The plane is off the highway on the side of the road and was not a traffic hazard.
Burleigh County Sheriff’s Office also responded to the scene.
