Jamestown (CSi) The James River Figure Skating Club presents, the 39th Annual, Ice Show March 18, 19, 20, 2016 at John L. Wilson Arena in Jamestown.

Directed and Choreographed by Mark Vasarhelyi the show “Summer Fun,” is sanctioned by the United States Figure Skating Association.

The club teaches all levels of figure skating from age 2 to 18 for youth, a separate adult figure skating program and hockey skating basics program for beginner players.

Skaters ages 3 to 18 in all skill levels will be performing in beachwear, as the songs deal with the summertime and kids getting out of school and just having a good time.

This is the 19th ice show for Vasarhelyi, adding that the training for six major competitions is from September through March, adding that the show is a culmination event that allows the kids to enjoy themselves.

The skating club also trains beginner hockey players the skating fundamentals. Five of the older boys hockey players joined the performance to skate with five girls to “Summer Nights” from the “Grease” soundtrack.

Performances are:

Friday March 18th at 7-p.m.

Saturday March 19th 2-p.m. & 7-p.m.

Sunday March 20th 2-p.m.
