BabyBorn31516Jamestown  (CSi)  The Stutsman County Farm Bureau presented a gift basket to the first baby born at Jamestown Regional Medical Center on March 15, 2016 National Ag Day.

On Wednesday, March 16th Sarah Wilson, representing the Stutsman County Farm Bureau, presented the JRMC Ag Day Baby and family with a basket of agricultural products and gifts, including North Dakota made products valued over $200. Items included a Farm Life book series by Twins Rianna and Seridan Chaney, a soy onesie, Dots Pretzels, Dakota Growers Pasta, $25 gift certificate to Hugo’s and a few other fun items.

Receiving the basket were parents Diana and Chris and new baby boy Jameson Dean born on National Ag Day, Tuesday, March 15th. The family resides in Jamestown and both are employed by UTC Aerospace.

Diana commented, “We are so thankful for this gift basket,”

National Ag Day marks a nationwide effort to tell the true story of American agriculture and remind citizens that agriculture is part of all of us.

The Agriculture Council of America (ACA) is an organization uniquely composed of leaders in the agriculture, food and fiber communities dedicated to increasing the public awareness of agriculture’s vital role in our society. The Agriculture Council of America and the National Ag Day program was started in 1973.
