Relay For Life “Color Fun Run” photos

Jamestown (CSi) A new Relay for Life event, the Color Fun Run,  was held Saturday April 30, at McElroy Park.  The turn-out, at more than 200 registrants, was double what event organizers expected for the first Color Fun Run for the Stutsman Relay For Life.    Photos for CSiNewsNOW.com by Matt Sheppard.   More photos at Facebook, TAG & SHARE!

The Color Fun Run will be mix of water, flour and food dye comprising an array of vibrant colors that will be seen flying through the air.

The plan for the Run is to have four stations where a color mixture will be thrown in the air and one water station. After the Run, there will be a “color fight,” where participants will have the opportunity to color the sky with their own color packets.

A $30 registration fee includes a Color Fun Run T-shirt and sunglasses for those who register by Monday.

If registering after Monday, the fee goes up to $35. Fees can be paid at Wells Fargo Bankin Jamestown.

Sunglasses will be available for $2 on the day of the race,

There is no prize for the winner of the Run, and the Run isn’t timed.
