BISMARCK, N.D. – Job Service North Dakota reported that labor statistics released Friday show North Dakota’s March not seasonally adjusted unemployment rate was 3.9 percent. The rate is 0.2 of a percentage point higher than the prior month, and is 0.5 of a percentage point higher than the same period one year ago. The national rate in March was 5.1 percent. Marcia Goetz, Labor Market Information Manager stated, “March unemployment rates increased just slightly over the month and over the year.
