Jamestown  (CSi)  The County Commission has appointed Nicole Meland as the county’s Interim Auditor, until a replacement for Casey Bradley is found and for a smooth transition.  Meland is currently the Deputy Auditor and Recorder.

On July 6, 2017 Bradley announced his resignation, and that his final day would be August 4th.

In a memo to Mark Klose, Commission Chairman, and the Stutsman County Commission, Meland outlined a few of the changes, in line with she being the interim auditor, and changes in positions at the courthouse.

County Treasurer Jessica Alonge, will for now, be Deputy Auditor and Recorder.

Current Deputy Recorder Jessica Moser becomes County Treasurer and her current position will remain open at this time.

The interim positions filled mean a cost savings to the county of about $9,869.95.

The changes are to be in place through October, 2017, through the 2018 budgeting.
