Light snow in the region today and tonight. Most areas
are expected to receive a dusting of snow, but a few isolated
locations could see a quick inch or two of accumulation.

Light snow/flurries should be winding down Christmas morning. The rest of Christmas Day looks cooler, but quiet.

The storm system expected to move into the area mid-late week is
now seeming to arrive in two rounds of snow.

Moderate snow across the area early Wednesday morning through
Wednesday night,  into Thursday, bringing a fairly
widespread area of 3 to 6 inches of new snow.

On Thursday, another round of moderate snow to Southeast North Dakota counties.

If the farther north track is realized, there could be a potential for high-end winter weather impacts on Thursday.

Thursday, windy, which may cause Wednesday`s snowfall to blow around.

Coldest temperatures of the season Thursday night

into Friday as Canadian high pressure moves over the area.

Widespread lows in the single digits below zero and highs on

Friday only in the single digits above zero.

Wind chills Thursday night into Friday morning, may drop

near -30.
