(JPD) On December 11, 2022, at approximately 0001 hrs, the Jamestown Police Department received a report of a stolen vehicle, which had just occurred within the past several minutes. The vehicle was stolen from the 1500 block of 6 Ave SW area and was described as a 1999 GMC Suburban.
Officers responded and at approximately 0021 hrs., a Jamestown Police Officer located the stolen vehicle parked behind some garages approximately 1 block to the north of the initial location. The vehicle was stopped in the alleyway and occupied by a female driver. The female drove the vehicle a short distance and came to a stop. Officers conducted a high-risk traffic stop and took the female into custody without incident.

The female identified herself as 36-year-old Heidi Hendricks of Valley City. A search was conducted, and Hendricks was found to be in possession of 2 sets of keys belonging to a GMC pickup and a Lincoln Nautilus. JPD had received notification from Valley City Police earlier in the day to be on the lookout for a stolen Lincoln Nautilus from Valley City.

Officers located and recovered the stolen Lincoln Nautilus from Valley City on the 600 block of 16 St SW. Additional property was located inside the stolen Suburban which indicated Hendricks was in possession of stolen property or keys from a total of four vehicles, three of which she is alleged to have stolen and driven to different locations.
